2019-12-17dt-bindings: rtc: Convert stm32 rtc bindings to json-schemaBenjamin Gaignard1-61/+0
Convert the STM32 RTC binding to DT schema format using json-schema Signed-off-by: Benjamin Gaignard <benjamin.gaignard@st.com> Signed-off-by: Rob Herring <robh@kernel.org>
2018-07-25dt-bindings: remove 'interrupt-parent' from bindingsRob Herring1-2/+0
'interrupt-parent' is often documented as part of define bindings, but it is really outside the scope of a device binding. It's never required in a given node as it is often inherited from a parent node. Or it can be implicit if a parent node is an 'interrupt-controller' node. So remove it from all the binding files. 2018-05-22dt-bindings: rtc: update stm32-rtc documentation for stm32mp1 rtcAmelie Delaunay1-7/+20
RTC embedded in stm32mp1 SoC is slightly different from stm32h7 one, it doesn't require to disable backup domain write protection, and rtc_ck parent clock assignment isn't allowed. To sum up, stm32mp1 RTC requires 2 clocks, pclk and rtc_ck, and an RTC alarm interrupt. 2018-05-06dt-bindings: rtc: update stm32-rtc documentation for st, syscfg propertyAmelie Delaunay1-4/+6
RTC driver should not be aware of the PWR registers offset and bits position. Furthermore, we can imagine that Disable Backup Protection (DBP) relative register and bit mask could change depending on the SoC. So this patch moves st,syscfg property from single pwrcfg phandle to pwrcfg phandle/offset/mask triplet. 2017-09-05dt-bindings: Remove "status" from examplesRob Herring1-1/+0
Pretty much any node can have a status property, so it doesn't need to be in examples. Converted with the following command and removed examples with SoC and board specific splits: git grep -l -E 'status.*=.*' Documentation/devicetree/ | xargs sed -i -E '/\sstatus.*=.*"(disabled|ok|okay)/d' Acked-by: Mark Rutland <mark.rutland@arm.com> Signed-off-by: Rob Herring <robh@kernel.org>
2017-07-06dt-bindings: rtc: stm32: add support for STM32H7Amelie Delaunay1-5/+27
This patch documents support for STM32H7 Real Time Clock. It introduces a new compatible and rework clock definitions. On STM32H7 we have a 'pclk' clock for register access, in addition to the 'rtc_ck' clock. 2017-01-13dt-bindings: document the STM32 RTC bindingsAmelie Delaunay1-0/+27
This patch adds documentation of device tree bindings for the STM32 RTC. Signed-off-by: Amelie Delaunay <amelie.delaunay@st.com> Acked-by: Rob Herring <robh@kernel.org> Signed-off-by: Alexandre Belloni <alexandre.belloni@free-electrons.com>
