2019-06-19treewide: Replace GPLv2 boilerplate/reference with SPDX - rule 500Thomas Gleixner1-4/+1
Based on 2 normalized pattern(s): this program is free software you can redistribute it and or modify it under the terms of the gnu general public license version 2 as published by the free software foundation this program is free software you can redistribute it and or modify it under the terms of the gnu general public license version 2 as published by the free software foundation # extracted by the scancode license scanner the SPDX license identifier GPL-2.0-only has been chosen to replace the boilerplate/reference in 4122 file(s). 2017-03-05ARC: [dts] add input clocks for cpu nodesVlad Zakharov1-0/+1
ARC CPU cores are driven by core_clk so we add corresponding "clocks" property to ARC cpu nodes. Signed-off-by: Vlad Zakharov <vzakhar@synopsys.com> Signed-off-by: Vineet Gupta <vgupta@synopsys.com>
2016-05-30arc: Get rid of root core-frequency propertyAlexey Brodkin1-1/+0
Now when we switched to usage of real clk devices for CPU core frequency those root properties make no sense any longer. Se we're just getting rid of them here to not confuse readers of our .dts files. 2016-05-09ARC: [dts] Introduce Timer bindingsVineet Gupta1-0/+14
ARC Timers have historically been probed directly. As precursor to start probing Timers thru DT introduce these bindings Note that to keep series bisectable, these bindings are not yet used in code. 2013-02-15ARC: [plat-arcfpga]: Enabling DeviceTree for Angel4 boardVineet Gupta1-0/+12
* arc-uart platform device now populated dynamically, using of_platform_populate() - applies to any other device whatsoever. * uart in turn requires incore arc-intc to be also present in DT * A irq-domain needs to be instantiated for IRQ requests by DT probed device (e.g. arc-uart) TODO: switch over to linear irq domain once all devs have been transitioned to DT Signed-off-by: Vineet Gupta <vgupta@synopsys.com> Cc: Grant Likely <grant.likely@secretlab.ca> Cc: Arnd Bergmann <arnd@arndb.de>
2013-02-15ARC: [DeviceTree] Convert some Kconfig items to runtime valuesVineet Gupta1-1/+5
* mem size now runtime configured (prev CONFIG_ARC_PLAT_SDRAM_SIZE) * core cpu clk runtime configured (prev CONFIG_ARC_PLAT_CLK) Signed-off-by: Vineet Gupta <vgupta@synopsys.com> Cc: Arnd Bergmann <arnd@arndb.de> Cc: Grant Likely <grant.likely@secretlab.ca>
2013-02-15ARC: [DeviceTree] Basic supportVineet Gupta1-0/+21
This is minimal infrastructure needed for devicetree work. It uses an a sample "skeleton" devicetree - embedded in kernel image - to print the board, manufacturer by parsing the top-level "compatible" string. As of now we don't need any additional "board" specific "machine_desc".
