2021-01-08ARC: [hsdk]: Enable FPU_SAVE_RESTOREVineet Gupta1-0/+1
HSDK has hardware floating point and the common use case is with glibc+hf so enable that as default. Signed-off-by: Vineet Gupta <vgupta@synopsys.com>
2020-10-05arc: plat-hsdk: fix kconfig dependency warning when !RESET_CONTROLLERNecip Fazil Yildiran1-0/+1
When ARC_SOC_HSDK is enabled and RESET_CONTROLLER is disabled, it results in the following Kbuild warning: WARNING: unmet direct dependencies detected for RESET_HSDK Depends on [n]: RESET_CONTROLLER [=n] && HAS_IOMEM [=y] && (ARC_SOC_HSDK [=y] || COMPILE_TEST [=n]) Selected by [y]: - ARC_SOC_HSDK [=y] && ISA_ARCV2 [=y] The reason is that ARC_SOC_HSDK selects RESET_HSDK without depending on or selecting RESET_CONTROLLER while RESET_HSDK is subordinate to RESET_CONTROLLER. Honor the kconfig menu hierarchy to remove kconfig dependency warnings. 2019-02-21ARCv2: support manual regfile save on interruptsVineet Gupta1-0/+1
There's a hardware bug which affects the HSDK platform, triggered by micro-ops for auto-saving regfile on taken interrupt. The workaround is to inhibit autosave. Signed-off-by: Vineet Gupta <vgupta@synopsys.com>
2018-11-23PCI: consolidate PCI config entry in drivers/pciChristoph Hellwig1-1/+1
There is no good reason to duplicate the PCI menu in every architecture. Instead provide a selectable HAVE_PCI symbol that indicates availability of PCI support, and a FORCE_PCI symbol to for PCI on and the handle the rest in drivers/pci. 2018-07-19ARCv2: [plat-hsdk]: Save accl reg pair by defaultVineet Gupta1-0/+2
This manifsted as strace segfaulting on HSDK because gcc was targetting the accumulator registers as GPRs, which kernek was not saving/restoring by default. Cc: stable@vger.kernel.org #4.14+ Signed-off-by: Vineet Gupta <vgupta@synopsys.com>
2018-06-21ARC: [plat-hsdk] Add PCIe supportGustavo Pimentel1-0/+1
Add PCI support to the ARC HSDK platform allowing to use the generic PCI setup functions. Signed-off-by: Gustavo Pimentel <gustavo.pimentel@synopsys.com> Acked-by: Alexey Brodkin <abrodkin@synopsys.com> Signed-off-by: Vineet Gupta <vgupta@synopsys.com>

2017-10-03ARC: [plat-hsdk] use actual clk driver to manage cpu clkEugeniy Paltsev1-1/+2
With corresponding clk driver now merged upstream, switch to it. - core_clk now represent the PLL (vs. fixed clk before) - input_clk represent the clk signal src for PLL (basically xtal) Signed-off-by: Eugeniy Paltsev <Eugeniy.Paltsev@synopsys.com> Signed-off-by: Vineet Gupta <vgupta@synopsys.com>
2017-09-01ARC: [plat-hsdk] initial port for HSDK boardAlexey Brodkin1-0/+9
This initial port adds support of ARC HS Development Kit board with some basic features such serial port, USB, SD/MMC and Ethernet. Essentially we run Linux kernel on all 4 cores (i.e. utilize SMP) and heavily use IO Coherency for speeding-up DMA-aware peripherals. Note as opposed to other ARC boards we link Linux kernel to 0x9000_0000 intentionally because cores 1 and 3 configured with DCCM situated at our more usual link base 0x8000_0000. We still can use memory region starting at 0x8000_0000 as we reallocate DCCM in our platform code. Note that PAE remapping for DMA clients does not work due to an RTL bug, so CREG_PAE register must be programmed to all zeroes, otherwise it will cause problems with DMA to/from peripherals even if PAE40 is not used.
