2022-06-27ARM: dts: omap: align gpio-key node names with dtschemaKrzysztof Kozlowski1-9/+9
The node names should be generic and DT schema expects certain pattern (e.g. with key/button/switch). Signed-off-by: Krzysztof Kozlowski <krzysztof.kozlowski@linaro.org> Link: https://lore.kernel.org/r/20220616005333.18491-32-krzysztof.kozlowski@linaro.org
2022-04-14ARM: dts: am3517-evm: Fix misc pinmuxingAdam Ford1-5/+40
The bootloader for the AM3517 has previously done much of the pin muxing, but as the bootloader is moving more and more to a model based on the device tree, it may no longer automatically mux the pins, so it is necessary to add the pinmuxing to the Linux device trees so the respective peripherals can remain functional. 2020-09-10ARM: dts: omap: replace status value "ok" by "okay"Adrian Schmutzler1-1/+1
While the DT parser recognizes "ok" as a valid value for the "status" property, it is actually mentioned nowhere. Use the proper value "okay" instead, as done in the majority of files already. 2020-07-13Replace HTTP links with HTTPS ones: OMAP DEVICE TREE SUPPORTAlexander A. Klimov1-1/+1
Rationale: Reduces attack surface on kernel devs opening the links for MITM as HTTPS traffic is much harder to manipulate. Deterministic algorithm: For each file: If not .svg: For each line: If doesn't contain `\bxmlns\b`: For each link, `\bhttp://[^# \t\r\n]*(?:\w|/)`: If neither `\bgnu\.org/license`, nor `\bmozilla\.org/MPL\b`: If both the HTTP and HTTPS versions return 200 OK and serve the same content: Replace HTTP with HTTPS. 2020-05-05ARM: dts: Add 32KHz clock as default clock sourceLokesh Vutla1-0/+1
Clocksource to timer configured in pwm mode can be selected using the DT property ti,clock-source. There are few pwm timers which are not selecting the clock source and relying on default value in hardware or selected by driver. Instead of relying on default value, always select the clock source from DT. 2019-09-06ARM: dts: am3517-evm: Fix missing videoAdam Ford1-19/+4
A previous commit removed the panel-dpi driver, which made the video on the AM3517-evm stop working because it relied on the dpi driver for setting video timings. Now that the simple-panel driver is available in omap2plus, this patch migrates the am3517-evm to use a similar panel and remove the manual timing requirements. Pull ARM Device-tree updates from Olof Johansson: "As usual, this is where the bulk of our changes end up landing each merge window. The individual updates are too many to enumerate, many many platforms have seen additions of device descriptions such that they are functionally more complete (in fact, this is often the bulk of updates we see). Instead I've mostly focused on highlighting the new platforms below as they are introduced. Sometimes the introduction is of mostly a fragment, that later gets filled in on later releases, and in some cases it's near-complete platform support. The latter is more common for derivative platforms that already has similar support in-tree. Two SoCs are slight outliers from the usual range of additions. Allwinner support for F1C100s, a quite old SoC (ARMv5-based) shipping in the Lychee Pi Nano platform. At the other end is NXP Layerscape LX2160A, a 16-core 2.2GHz Cortex-A72 SoC with a large amount of I/O aimed at infrastructure/networking. TI updates stick out in the diff stats too, in particular because they have moved the description of their L4 on-chip interconnect to devicetree, which opens up for removal of even more of their platform-specific 'hwmod' description tables over the next few releases. 2018-05-15ARM: dts: am3517-evm: Split off SOM features from baseboardAdam Ford1-1/+1
The am3517-evm consists of an am3517 SOM-M2 and a baseboard. As items are added that are unique to the baseboard, let's place them in a file called am3517-som.dtsi. These items will be common for all variants of the SOM. Anything unique to the baseboard will be placed into am3517-evm. Signed-off-by: Derald D. 2013-12-06ARM: OMAP2+: Fix the machine entry for am3517Nishanth Menon1-3/+3
The am3517 is wrongly booting as omap3 which means that the am3517 specific devices like Ethernet won't work when booted with device tree. Now with the new devices defined in am3517.dtsi, let's use that instead of the omap3.dtsi, and add a separate machine entry for am3517 so am3517-evm can use it. 2013-04-09ARM: dts: OMAP34xx/35xx: Add CPU OPP tableNishanth Menon1-1/+1
Add DT OPP table for OMAP34xx/35xx family of devices. This data is decoded by OF with of_init_opp_table() helper function. OPP data here is based on existing opp3xxx_data.c Since the omap36xx OPP tables would be different from OMAP34xx/35xx, introduce an new omap34xx.dtsi for 34xx/35xx specific entries and use existing omap3.dtsi as the common dtsi file for all OMAP3 platforms. This is in preparation to use generic cpufreq-cpu0 driver for device tree enabled boot. Legacy non device tree enabled boot continues to use omap-cpufreq.c and opp3xxx_data.c.
