2022-04-29ARM: davinci: remove include/mach/ subdirectoryArnd Bergmann1-3/+3
The files in include/mach are only used from mach/davinci, so they are no longer needed in the traditional location. Move them to arch/arm/mach-davinci/ and drop the logic for the special include path. The mach/uncompress.h file is not used at all and can just be removed. We're going to extend the davinci_irq_init() function with a config structure so we can drop the intc-related fields from davinci_soc_info. Once we do it, we won't be able to use this routine directly as the init_irq callback. Wrap the calls in additional helpers that don't take parameters and can be assigned to init_irq. 2019-01-10ARM: davinci: dm365-evm: use device properties for at24 eepromBartosz Golaszewski1-8/+5
We want to work towards phasing out the at24_platform_data structure. There are few users and its contents can be represented using generic device properties. Using device properties only will allow us to significantly simplify the at24 configuration code. Remove the at24_platform_data structure and replace it with an array of property entries. Drop the byte_len/size property, as the model name already implies the EEPROM's size. 2018-02-19ARM: davinci: move davinci_clk_init() to init_timeDavid Lechner1-1/+1
This moves the call of davinci_clk_init() from map_io to init_time for all boards. This is the proper place to init clocks. This is also done in preparation for moving to the common clock framework. dm646x is a special case because we need to handle different ref_clk rates depending on which board is being used. The clock init in this case is modified to set the rate before registering the clocks instead of using davinci_set_refclk_rate() to recalculate the entire clock tree after all of the clocks are registered. 2016-07-14ARM: davinci: fix build break because of undeclared dm365_evm_snd_dataSekhar Nori1-1/+1
commit 6bce5efd4424 ("ARM: davinci: remove unused davinci-i2s pdata") removed all instances of davinci-i2s pdata. However, on DM365 EVM, the same platform data is passed to the voicecodec present on that device. This causes build breakage when voicecodec support is enabled: arch/arm/mach-davinci/board-dm365-evm.c:764:17: error: 'dm365_evm_snd_data' undeclared (first use in this function) voicecodec driver does not use the platform data as well, and it is safe to remove it. Remove init_enable from ths7303 pdata as it is being dropped from ths7303_platform_data. The purpose of init_enable was that the device should start streaming video immediately but instead the bridge drivers should call s_stream explicitly for such devices. This is in fact what happens for the dm365, so setting init_enable here never made sense in the first place. As a first step towards migrating davinci platforms to use common clock framework, replace all instances of clk_enable() with clk_prepare_enable() and clk_disable() with clk_disable_unprepare(). Until the platform is switched to use the CONFIG_HAVE_CLK_PREPARE Kconfig variable, this just adds a might_sleep() call and would work without any issues. This will make it easy later to switch to common clk based implementation of clk driver from DaVinci specific driver. Remove individual platform header files for dm365, dm355, dm644x and dm646x and consolidate it into a single and common header file davinci.h placed in arch/arm/mach-davinci. This patch works with the following three flags from two headers (nand.h and bbm.h): (1) NAND_USE_FLASH_BBT (nand.h) (2) NAND_USE_FLASH_BBT_NO_OOB (nand.h) (3) NAND_BBT_NO_OOB (bbm.h) These flags are all related and interdependent, yet they were in different headers. Flag (2) is simply the combination of (1) and (3) and can be eliminated. This patch accomplishes the following: * eliminate NAND_USE_FLASH_BBT_NO_OOB (i.e., flag (2)) * move NAND_USE_FLASH_BBT (i.e., flag (1)) to bbm.h It's important to note that because (1) and (3) are now both found in bbm.h, they should NOT be used in the "nand_chip.options" field. I removed a small section from the mtdnand DocBook because it referes to NAND_USE_FLASH_BBT in nand.h, which has been moved to bbm.h.
