Since the clock initialization should be completed prior to the mct timer initialization, create a new function 'exynos_init_time' that first sets up the clock and then invokes the timer initialization function. The 'init_time' callback in the board files are updated to invoke this new wrapper function. 2013-03-09ARM: EXYNOS: allow dt based discovery of mct controller using clocksource_of_initThomas Abraham1-1/+1
Add entries to __clksrc_of_table so that Exynos MCT controller is discoverable using call to clocksource_of_init. With this change, it would be appropriate to rename the function 'exynos4_timer_init' as 'mct_init' since it aptly describes this function. Additionally, the 'init_time' callback of all machine descriptors for exynos platforms that were previously set to 'exynos4_timer_init' are now set to either 'mct_init' or 'clocksource_of_init'. Now that the only field in struct sys_timer is .init, delete the struct, and replace the machine descriptor .timer field with the initialization function itself. 2012-12-07ASoC: Samsung: Do not register samsung audio dma device as pdevPadmavathi Venna1-1/+0
Previously, the ASoC 'platform' (PCM/DMA) object was instantiated via a platform_device. This didn't represent the hardware well, since there was no separate hardware associated with this platform_device; it was a virtual device with sole purpose to call snd_soc_register_platform(). This change removes the platform_device completely. Each Samsung DAI now registers the ASoC 'platform' itself. Machine drivers are adjusted for the new 'platform' name. Handling System MMUs with an identifier is not flexible to manage System MMU platform devices because of the following reasons: 1. A device driver which needs to handle System MMU must know the ID. 2. A System MMU may not present in some implementations of Exynos family. 3. Handling System MMU with IOMMU API does not require an ID. This patch is the result of removing ID of System MMUs. Instead, a device driver that needs to handle its System MMU must use IOMMU API while its descriptor of platform device is given. The arch/arm/mach-exynos4 directory (CONFIG_ARCH_EXYNOS4) has made for plaforms based on EXYNOS4 SoCs. But since upcoming Samsung's SoCs such as EXYNOS5 (ARM Cortex A15) can reuse most codes in current mach-exynos4, one mach-exynos directory will be used for them. This patch changes to CONFIG_ARCH_EXYNOS (arch/arm/mach-exynos) but keeps original CONFIG_ARCH_EXYNOS4 in mach-exynos/Kconfig to avoid changing in driver side.
