2012-03-03ARM: S3C2410: move mach-s3c2410/* into mach-s3c24xx/Kukjin Kim48-4104/+0
This patch moves S3C2410 stuff into mach-s3c24xx/ directory so that we can merge the s3c24 series' directories to the just one mach-s3c24xx/ directory. And this patch is including following. - re-ordered alphabetically by option text at Kconfig and Makefile - removed unused option, MACH_N35 - fixed duplcated option name, S3C2410_DMA to S3C24XX_DMA which is in plat-s3c24xx/ Cc: Ben Dooks <ben-linux@fluff.org> Cc: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk> Signed-off-by: Kukjin Kim <kgene.kim@samsung.com>
2012-01-31ARM: S3C24XX: move spi-s3c24xx platdata out of machHeiko Stuebner1-27/+0
spi.h now only contains the definition of the platform data structure for the driver in spi-s3c24xx.c . Therefore it does not need to stay in include/mach but can instead live in linux/spi/s3c24xx.h . 2012-01-27ARM: S3C24XX: remove unused spi gpio setup functionsHeiko Stuebner1-11/+0
A grep through the kernel source revealed that neither the config-options nor the defined functions are used anywhere in the kernel. There was also no activity in this regard through the last kernel releases, so it seems this situation will not change in the future. Therefore this patch removes this seemingly dead code. 2012-01-05ARM: restart: remove the now empty arch_reset()Russell King2-17/+0
Remove the now empty arch_reset() from all the mach/system.h includes, and remove its callsite. Remove arm_machine_restart() as this function no longer does anything useful. For samsung platforms, remove the include of mach/system-reset.h and plat/system-reset.h from their respective mach/system.h headers as these just define their arch_reset functions. As a result, the s3c2410 and plat-samsung system-reset.h files are no longer referenced, so remove these files entirely. S3C2412/S3C2416/S3C2443 use a special register to signal the reset to the processor and used therefore the s3c24xx_reset_hook mechanism in the s3c24xx-specific arch reset. 2011-11-21ARM: restart: only perform setup for restart when soft-restartingRussell King1-2/+2
We only need to set the system up for a soft-restart if we're going to be doing a soft-restart. Provide a new function (soft_restart()) which does the setup and final call for this, and make platforms use it. Eliminate the call to setup_restart() from the default handler. This means that platforms arch_reset() function is no longer called with the page tables prepared for a soft-restart, and caches will still be enabled. 2011-09-14ARM: SAMSUNG: Add common DMA operationsBoojin Kim1-1/+7
This patch adds common DMA operations which are used for Samsung DMA drivers. Currently there are two types of DMA driver for Samsung SoCs. The one is S3C-DMA for S3C SoCs and the other is PL330-DMA for S5P SoCs. This patch provides funcion pointers for common DMA operations to DMA client driver like SPI and Audio. It makes DMA client drivers support multi-platform. In addition, this common DMA operations implement the shared actions that are needed for DMA client driver. For example shared actions are filter() function for dma_request_channel() and parameter passing for device_prep_slave_sg(). There is only one user of ioaddr() in the kernel, and that is the Acorn expansion card core code. S3C2410 does not use this code, and so the definition of ioaddr() is redundant. Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2011-08-12ARM: gpio: make trivial GPIOLIB implementation the defaultRussell King1-2/+0
Rather than marking the mach/gpio.h header files which want to use the trivial GPIOLIB implementation, mark those which do not want to use it instead. This means that by default, you get the trivial implementation and only have to do something extra if you need to. This should encourage the use of the trivial default implementation. As an additional bonus, several gpio.h header files become empty. 2011-08-12ARM: gpio: consolidate gpio_to_irqRussell King1-1/+0
Many of the gpio_to_irq implementations use the gpiolib version of this function. Provide the standard gpiolib gpio_to_irq() for everyone, but allow platforms to override it if they wish. Add the neccessary overrides for those platforms which do not use the standard definition. Acked-by: Kukjin Kim <kgene.kim@samsung.com> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>

Consolidate 24 trivial gpiolib implementions out of mach/gpio.h into asm/gpio.h. 2011-07-20ARM: SAMSUNG: Add support for pre-sleep/post-restore gpio controlBen Dooks1-0/+3
Add a callback so that per-arch can do pre-sleep and post-resume gpio configuration so that for the S3C64XX, the GPIO configuration is restored before the sleep mode is cleared. For the S3C64XX case, it means that the GPIOs get set back to normal operation after the restore code puts the original configurations back in after the Signed-off-by: Ben Dooks <ben-linux@fluff.org> Signed-off-by: Mark Brown <broonie@opensource.wolfsonmicro.com> Signed-off-by: Kukjin Kim <kgene.kim@samsung.com>
