2022-09-26powerpc: Remove CONFIG_PPC_BOOK3E_MMUChristophe Leroy1-324/+0
CONFIG_PPC_BOOK3E_MMU is redundant with CONFIG_PPC_E500. Remove it. Also rename mmu-book3e.h to mmu-e500.h Signed-off-by: Christophe Leroy <christophe.leroy@csgroup.eu> Signed-off-by: Michael Ellerman <mpe@ellerman.id.au> Link: https://lore.kernel.org/r/c5549cd59a131204ff94ab909cad2e2dad4ddf2f.1663606876.git.christophe.leroy@csgroup.eu
2020-12-04powerpc/vdso: Replace vdso_base by vdsoChristophe Leroy1-1/+1
All other architectures but s390 use a void pointer named 'vdso' to reference the VDSO mapping. In a following patch, the VDSO data page will be put in front of text, vdso_base will then not anymore point to VDSO text. To avoid confusion between vdso_base and VDSO text, rename vdso_base into vdso and make it a void __user *. 2019-11-13powerpc/fsl_booke/32: implement KASLR infrastructureJason Yan1-1/+0
This patch add support to boot kernel from places other than KERNELBASE. Since CONFIG_RELOCATABLE has already supported, what we need to do is map or copy kernel to a proper place and relocate. Freescale Book-E parts expect lowmem to be mapped by fixed TLB entries(TLB1). The TLB1 entries are not suitable to map the kernel directly in a randomized region, so we chose to copy the kernel to a proper place and restart to relocate. The offset of the kernel was not randomized yet(a fixed 64M is set). We will randomize it in the next patch. 2019-11-13powerpc: unify definition of M_IF_NEEDEDJason Yan1-0/+10
M_IF_NEEDED is defined too many times. Move it to a common place and rename it to MAS2_M_IF_NEEDED which is much readable. 2019-05-03powerpc/mm: get rid of nohash/32/mmu.h and nohash/64/mmu.hChristophe Leroy1-0/+2
Those files have no real added values, especially the 64 bit which only includes the common book3e mmu.h which is also included from 32 bits side. So lets do the final inclusion directly from nohash/mmu.h Reviewed-by: Aneesh Kumar K.V <aneesh.kumar@linux.ibm.com> Signed-off-by: Christophe Leroy <christophe.leroy@c-s.fr> Signed-off-by: Michael Ellerman <mpe@ellerman.id.au>
2018-12-04powerpc/mm: move platform specific mmu-xxx.h in platform directoriesChristophe Leroy1-0/+313
The purpose of this patch is to move platform specific mmu-xxx.h files in platform directories like pte-xxx.h files. In the meantime this patch creates common nohash and nohash/32 + nohash/64 mmu.h files for future common parts.
