2022-01-26misc: rtsx: Rework runtime power management flowKai-Heng Feng1-79/+39
Commit 5b4258f6721f ("misc: rtsx: rts5249 support runtime PM") uses "rtd3_work" and "idle_work" to manage it's own runtime PM state machine. When its child device, rtsx_pci_sdmmc, uses runtime PM refcount correctly, all the additional works can be managed by generic runtime PM helpers. So consolidate "idle_work" and "rtd3_work" into generic runtime idle callback and runtime suspend callback, respectively. 2021-05-14misc: alcor_pci: fix null-ptr-deref when there is no PCI bridgeTong Zhang1-1/+7
There is an issue with the ASPM(optional) capability checking function. A device might be attached to root complex directly, in this case, bus->self(bridge) will be NULL, thus priv->parent_pdev is NULL. Since alcor_pci_init_check_aspm(priv->parent_pdev) checks the PCI link's ASPM capability and populate parent_cap_off, which will be used later by alcor_pci_aspm_ctrl() to dynamically turn on/off device, what we can do here is to avoid checking the capability if we are on the root complex. This will make pdev_cap_off 0 and alcor_pci_aspm_ctrl() will simply return when bring called, effectively disable ASPM for the device. 2020-11-16misc: rtsx: Add SD Express mode support for RTS5261Rui Feng3-23/+9
RTS5261 support SD mode and PCIe/NVMe mode. The workflow is as follows. 1.RTS5261 work in SD mode and set MMC_CAPS2_SD_EXP flag. 2.If card is plugged in, Host send CMD8 to ask card's PCIe availability. 3.If the card has PCIe availability and WP is not set, init_sd_express() will be invoked, RTS5261 switch to PCIe/NVMe mode. 4.Mmc driver handover it to NVMe driver. 5.If card is unplugged, RTS5261 will switch to SD mode. 2020-07-23cardreader/rtsx_pcr.c: use generic power managementVaibhav Gupta1-22/+11
Drivers should not use legacy power management as they have to manage power states and related operations, for the device, themselves. This driver was handling them with the help of PCI helper functions like pci_save/restore_state(), pci_enable/disable_device(), etc. With generic PM, all essentials will be handled by the PCI core. Driver needs to do only device-specific operations. The driver was also using pci_enable_wake(...,..., 0) to disable wake. Use device_wakeup_disable() instead. Compile-tested only. 2020-07-22misc: rtsx: Use standard PCI definitionsBjorn Helgaas4-16/+16

2020-07-22misc: rtsx: Find L1 PM Substates capability instead of hard-codingBjorn Helgaas4-9/+24
Instead of hard-coding the location of the L1 PM Substates capability based on the Device ID, search for it in the extended capabilities list. 2020-07-22misc: rtsx: Remove rtsx_pci_read/write_config() wrappersBjorn Helgaas9-30/+44
rtsx_pci_read_config_dword() and similar wrappers around the PCI config accessors add very little value, and they obscure the fact that often we are accessing standard PCI registers that should be coordinated with the PCI core.
