2020-06-14treewide: replace '---help---' in Kconfig files with 'help'Masahiro Yamada1-2/+2
Since commit 84af7a6194e4 ("checkpatch: kconfig: prefer 'help' over '---help---'"), the number of '---help---' has been gradually decreasing, but there are still more than 2400 instances. This commit finishes the conversion. While I touched the lines, I also fixed the indentation. There are a variety of indentation styles found. a) 4 spaces + '---help---' b) 7 spaces + '---help---' c) 8 spaces + '---help---' d) 1 space + 1 tab + '---help---' e) 1 tab + '---help---' (correct indentation) f) 1 tab + 1 space + '---help---' g) 1 tab + 2 spaces + '---help---' In order to convert all of them to 1 tab + 'help', I ran the following commend: $ find . -name 'Kconfig*' | xargs sed -i 's/^[[:space:]]*---help---/\thelp/' Signed-off-by: Masahiro Yamada <masahiroy@kernel.org>
2019-05-21treewide: Add SPDX license identifier - Makefile/KconfigThomas Gleixner1-0/+1
Add SPDX license identifiers to all Make/Kconfig files which: - Have no license information of any form These files fall under the project license, GPL v2 only. The resulting SPDX license identifier is: GPL-2.0-only Signed-off-by: Thomas Gleixner <tglx@linutronix.de> Signed-off-by: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@linuxfoundation.org>
2018-03-13net/wireless: fix spaces and grammar copy/paste in vendor Kconfig help textRandy Dunlap1-2/+2
Lots of the wireless driver vendor Kconfig symol help text says "questions about cards." (2 spaces between "about" and "cards") Besides dropping one of those spaces, it also needs some other word inserted there. Instead of putting each vendor's name there, I chose to say "these" cards in all of the Kconfig help text. 2015-11-18ti: unify Kconfig with other vendorsKalle Valo1-7/+11
Rename WL_TI to WLAN_VENDOR_TI to match with other vendor configs and make sure that it's enabled by default in new configs. Convert menuconfigs to regular configs to unify the wireless drivers menuconfig. Part of reorganising wireless drivers directory and Kconfig. Also remove WLCORE dependency to WL_TI. It should not be needed as WLCORE is already under if WLAN_VENDOR_TI. Signed-off-by: Kalle Valo <kvalo@codeaurora.org>
2013-02-08wlcore: move wl12xx_platform_data up and make it truly optionalLuciano Coelho1-0/+9
The platform data is used not only by wlcore-based drivers, but also by wl1251. Move it up in the directory hierarchy to reflect this. Additionally, make it truly optional. At the moment, disabling platform data while wl1251_sdio or wlcore_sdio are enabled doesn't work, but it will be necessary when device tree support is implemented. 2012-06-05wl18xx: add new moduleLuciano Coelho1-0/+1
Add the wl18xx module and the probe functions. Use wlcore for the main parts (not functional at this point due to differences in the wl18xx initialization). Signed-off-by: Luciano Coelho <coelho@ti.com> Signed-off-by: Arik Nemtsov <arik@wizery.com>
2012-04-12wl12xx/wlcore: spin out the wl12xx probe from wlcore to a new wl12xxLuciano Coelho1-0/+3
Create a new small wl12xx module that only contains the probe functions and depends entirely on wlcore otherwise. Signed-off-by: Luciano Coelho <coelho@ti.com>
2012-04-12wl12xx/wlcore: rename wl12xx to wlcoreLuciano Coelho1-1/+1
Rename the wl12xx driver directory to wlcore as an initial step towards the split of the driver into wlcore and wl12xx. We just rename the directory first to keep git blame happy. Signed-off-by: Luciano Coelho <coelho@ti.com>
2012-04-12wireless/wl12xx/wl1251: move TI WLAN modules to a common ti subdirectoryLuciano Coelho1-0/+11
Move wl12xx and wl1251 modules into a new drivers/net/wireless/ti directory. Add a TI WLAN Kconfig option and Makefile to support this change. Signed-off-by: Luciano Coelho <coelho@ti.com> Cc: John W. Linville <linville@tuxdriver.com>
