2008-08-07[ARM] Move include/asm-arm/arch-* to arch/arm/*/include/machRussell King1-197/+0
This just leaves include/asm-arm/plat-* to deal with. Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2008-08-07[ARM] Remove asm/hardware.h, use asm/arch/hardware.h insteadRussell King1-1/+1
Remove includes of asm/hardware.h in addition to asm/arch/hardware.h. Then, since asm/hardware.h only exists to include asm/arch/hardware.h, update everything to directly include asm/arch/hardware.h and remove asm/hardware.h. Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2008-07-03ARM: OMAP: Introduce omap_globals and prcm access functions for multi-omapTony Lindgren1-0/+3
New struct omap_globals contains the omap processor specific module bases. Use omap_globals to set the various base addresses to make detecting omap chip type simpler. Also introduce OMAP1_IO_ADDRESS and OMAP2_IO_ADDRESS for future multi-omap patches. Signed-off-by: Tony Lindgren <tony@atomide.com>
2008-07-03ARM: OMAP: Remove __REG access for multi-omapTony Lindgren1-23/+0
This does not play nicely with multi-omap as it cannot be replaced by a function in io.c for omaps with different IO bases. Signed-off-by: Tony Lindgren <tony@atomide.com>
2008-04-14ARM: OMAP2: Change 24xx to use new register accessPaul Walmsley1-3/+67
This patch changes 24xx to use new register access, except for clock framework. Clock framework register access will get updates in the next patch. Note that board-*.c files change GPMC (General Purpose Memory Controller) access to use gpmc_cs_write_reg() instead of accessing the registers directly. The code also uses gpmc_fck instead of it's parent clock core_l3_ck for GPMC clock. The H4 board file also adds h4_init_flash() function, which specify the flash start and end addresses. Also note that sleep.S removes some unused registers addresses. Signed-off-by: Paul Walmsley <paul@pwsan.com> Signed-off-by: Tony Lindgren <tony@atomide.com>
2007-09-20ARM: OMAP: Add minimal OMAP2430 supportSyed Mohammed Khasim1-0/+10
This patch adds minimal OMAP2430 support to get the kernel booting on 2430SDP. Signed-off-by: Syed Mohammed Khasim <x0khasim@ti.com> Signed-off-by: Tony Lindgren <tony@atomide.com>
2007-05-08ARM: OMAP: Sync headers with linux-omapTony Lindgren1-0/+11
This patch syncs omap specific headers with linux-omap. Most of the changes needed because of bitrot caused by driver changes in linux-omap tree. Integrating this is needed for adding support for various omap drivers. Signed-off-by: Tony Lindgren <tony@atomide.com> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2006-06-24[ARM] 3631/1: Remove legacy __mem_isa() definitionsAndrew Victor1-1/+0
Patch from Andrew Victor Remove the remaining legacy __mem_isa() definitions for the ARM platforms. Signed-off-by: Andrew Victor <andrew@sanpeople.com> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2006-02-08[ARM] 3279/1: OMAP: 1/3 Fix low-level io initTony Lindgren1-1/+5
Patch from Tony Lindgren This patch adds the missing cache flushes to common low-level init that are needed to access the IO region. These flushes are normally done at the end of devicemaps_init(), but we need to detect the OMAP core type early. Signed-off-by: Tony Lindgren <tony@atomide.com> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2005-11-10[ARM] 3143/1: OMAP 4/5: Update omap include filesTony Lindgren1-11/+21
Patch from Tony Lindgren This patch syncs the mainline kernel with linux-omap tree. This patch contains changes to common header files for omap1xxx and omap24xx by various omap developers, and improved cpu detection by Imre Deak Signed-off-by: Tony Lindgren <tony@atomide.com> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2005-10-28[ARM] 1/4: Move include of asm/hardware.h to asm-arm/arch-*/io.hRussell King1-0/+2
Including asm/hardware.h into asm/io.h can cause #define clashes between platform specific definitions and driver local definitions. Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2005-09-07[ARM] 2888/1: OMAP 3/4: Update omap include files, take 2Tony Lindgren1-8/+18
Patch from Tony Lindgren This patch syncs the mainline kernel with linux-omap tree. The highlights of the patch are: - Start adding 24xx support by Paul Mundt - Clean-up of cpu detection by Dirk Behme and Tony Lindgren - Add DSP header by Toshihiro Kobayashi - Add support for mtd-xip by Vladimir Barinov - Add various new mux registers - Move OMAP specific serial defines back to serial.h Signed-off-by: Tony Lindgren <tony@atomide.com> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>

Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
