Use getifaddrs(3) instead of SIOCGIFCONF, SIOCGIFADDR, SIOCGIFNETMASK,
and SIOCGIFFLAGS ioctl()s. Fixes an alignment bug on alpha with a
certain number of network interfaces (and simplifies the code
tremendously). Based on a patch from Chris Jepeway.
