2021-12-15arm64: dts: qcom: pm8998: Add ADC Thermal Monitor nodeBjorn Andersson1-0/+10
Add a node for the ADC Thermal Monitor found in the PM8998 PMIC. This is used to connect thermal zones with ADC channels. 2021-01-22arm64: dts: qcom: Add missing "-thermal" suffix for thermal zonesManivannan Sadhasivam1-1/+1
The thermal devicetree binding requires the "-thermal" suffix for all thermal zones. Hence, add the missing suffix for PMIC based thermal zones. 2020-02-11arm64: dts: qcom: sdm845: Disable pwrkey on ChezaStephen Boyd1-1/+1
We don't use the power key from the PMIC on Cheza. Disable this node so that we don't probe the driver for this device. 2019-07-25arm64: dts: qcom: sdm845: remove macro from unit nameVinod Koul1-1/+1
Unit name is supposed to be a number, using a macro with hex value is not recommended, so add the value in unit name. arch/arm64/boot/dts/qcom/pm8998.dtsi:81.18-84.6: Warning (unit_address_format): /soc/spmi@c440000/pmic@0/adc@3100/adc-chan@0x06: unit name should not have leading "0x" arch/arm64/boot/dts/qcom/pm8998.dtsi:81.18-84.6: Warning (unit_address_format): /soc/spmi@c440000/pmic@0/adc@3100/adc-chan@0x06: unit name should not have leading 0s Reviewed-by: Amit Kucheria <amit.kucheria@linaro.org> Reviewed-by: Stephen Boyd <swboyd@chromium.org> Signed-off-by: Vinod Koul <vkoul@kernel.org> Signed-off-by: Bjorn Andersson <bjorn.andersson@linaro.org>
2019-06-19arm64: dts: qcom: pm8998: Use qcom,pm8998-pon binding for second gen ponJohn Stultz1-1/+1
This changes pm8998 to use the new qcom,pm8998-pon compatible string for the pon in order to support the gen2 pon functionality properly. 2019-04-23arm64: dts: qcom: pm8998: Use ADC temperature to temp-alarm nodeMatthias Kaehlcke1-0/+2
The temperature information from the temp-alarm block itself is very coarse ("temperature is above/below trip points"). Provide the driver with the die temperature channel of the ADC on the PMIC for more precise readings. 2019-04-18arm64: dts: qcom: pm8998: add gpio-rangesBrian Masney1-0/+1
This adds the gpio-ranges property so that the GPIO pins are initialized by the GPIO framework and not pinctrl. This fixes a circular dependency between these two frameworks so GPIO hogging can be used on this board. This was not tested on this particular hardware, however this same change was tested on qcom-pm8941 using a LG Nexus 5 (hammerhead) phone. 2019-01-24arm64: dts: qcom: pm8998: add interrupt controller propertiesBrian Masney1-26/+2
Add interrupt controller properties now that spmi-gpio is a proper hierarchical IRQ chip. The interrupts property is no longer needed so remove it. This change was not tested on any hardware but the same change was tested on qcom-pm8941.dtsi using a LG Nexus 5 (hammerhead) phone with no issues. 2018-09-13arm64: dts: qcom: pm8998: Add pm8998 thermal zoneMatthias Kaehlcke1-0/+24
The thermal zone uses spmi-temp-alarm as sensor, the trip points correspond to the PMIC thermal stages 1 and 2. The critical trip point at 125°C disables the partial PMIC shutdown at stage 2. Without an IIO input the sensor only reports a limited number of temperatures: - 37°C for temperatures below 105°C - 107°C for temperatures >= 105°C and < 125°C - 127°C for temperatures >= 125°C (the numbers correspond to a stage 1 threshold of 105°C) Signed-off-by: Matthias Kaehlcke <mka@chromium.org> Reviewed-by: Douglas Anderson <dianders@chromium.org> Signed-off-by: Andy Gross <andy.gross@linaro.org>
